About Us
I'm Carole Miles and I am experienced integrative therapist, MBACP Accredited with over 20 years’ experience.
I use several approaches crafted over many years to aid clients on their journey towards personal growth, healing and positive change.
I have had the opportunity of working with a large number of clients with a wide range of issues from anxiety, depression, substance misuse, relationship issues to acute trauma.
I have also provided clinical supervision to psychotherapists, frontline staff who work with traumatised victims and team managers who run therapeutic support services, for the NHS, Universities, charities and other great institutions.
Then about 8 years ago I set up Ealing Counselling Service and with all my experience I am able to help clients through difficult periods in their lives - with a wide range of treatments to help them find their authentic selves.

Becoming a counsellor wasn't my first job, I worked in Media and TV Production. I should have been happy by all accounts - but I wasn't! So, i made a life-changing choice and qualified as a counsellor. It was the best decision I have ever made!

Helping people to explore their feelings and piece together the many conflicting parts of themselves and seeing them begin to feel whole again is why I do this!
There is nothing more rewarding than making a difference in peoples lives and helping them recover.
Taking the first steps towards engaging in therapy can be a very personal journey and I believe with the right the therapy you can unlock your true potential and find a happier fulfilling life.

I am an integrative counsellor trained in both eurocentric and afrocentric concepts. Having more than one approach gives me access to extensive knowledge, and skills, which can be tailored based on individual client needs. I have previously worked as mentor, helping others to maximise their potential, while my background in sports and exercise science allow me to adopt a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
As an individual I am extremely warm, non-judgemental, and open minded, with a quirky, infectious personality, and sense of humour. There is no problem too big or too small, whatever your journey is, I am happy to walk alongside you.
My experiences of overcoming the ripple effects of mental health, trauma, addiction, have equipped me with a unique set of experiences, that set me apart from most. I became a counsellor to support others through the many challenges that life presents. I am also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Justin Dowdall
Marriage and Family Therapist
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist based in London with over 16 years of experience. I work with couples and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life changes, life transitions, self-worth/esteem issues, and communication challenges. My approach focuses on each client's needs and working with your unique thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. Each session is a collaborative effort to build trust, respect, empathy, and compassion. My approach combines Cognitive Therapy, looking at thought patterns and how they affect our behaviour. Emotionally Focused Therapy is how we internalise emotions and express them. Narrative therapy and mindfulness exercises on how to change negative patterns and emotions. The goal is for each individual involved to understand better the self and how to work towards a better tomorrow. I am here when you feel ready to take the first step.
